PCB Assembly plant in the process of production and processing of PCB products requires strict inspection of each link to produce a reliable PCB product. Today, the PCB Assembly plant will give you some information about the aspects of the quality of PCB products, including the following:
(1) appearance inspection.
Use visual or magnifying glass to check the appearance of products (raw materials and PCB, etc.) surface abnormality, such as scar, color, pollutant, residue, obvious opening and short circuit, etc.
With high density and fine development, AOI (automatic optical inspection machine) must be used to check the product appearance, even using scanning electron microscope (SEM) to check and measure the copper foil surface micro corrosion, inner surface oxidation treatment, drilling hole wall roughness, and so on and so forth.
(2) microcutting surface inspection.
Metallographic microscope plated through hole or guide hole inner and outer graphics such as presence of abnormal or dimension evaluation, such as drilling hole wall roughness and wall of hole to drill the dirt, the coating thickness distribution and its defects, counterpoint and structure between the layers and various after aging test, and so on.
(3) size inspection.
Using tool microscope, coordinate measuring instrument, or all kinds of measuring tools such as shape, hole, hole position, conductor width and spacing, the size of the welding plate, position and surface roughness (warp degree, deformation) measurement and evaluation.
(4) electrical performance test.
Used in a variety of electrical test equipment, used for loop (line) "tong", "broken" (or "open", "short" road) test, conductor resistance (/ guide hole inner conductor connection), insulation resistance measurements (loop and loop, etc.) between layer and layer test, the electrical resistance (wires, guide hole or plated through hole) test and the voltage resistance (surface layer, between layer and layer) of the test.
(5) mechanical performance test.
Used in a variety of test equipment and tooling for copper foil peel strength, copper plating layer peel strength, plated through hole (adhesion) pulled off strength, ductility, folding resistance, bending resistance, resistance welding flux and mark symbol of adhesion and hardness test.
(6) aging (use term reliability) test.
Used in a variety of testing apparatus for high and low temperature cycle resistance, heat resisting impact (gas/liquid, such as soldering test), heat resistance humidity circularity, interconnect test and stress test (IST) and so on.
(7) other tests.
The experiment and evaluation of the test equipment are used for the test and evaluation of combustion resistance, solvent resistance, cleanliness, weldability, heat resistance (reflow welding, reflow welding, etc.), resistance to migration, etc.
